Kade Uawithya

Kade Uawithya is a Thailand born and British brewed iIllustrator/Designer. He graduated with BA and MA degrees in Fashion Designs from the Central St.Martin’s College in London in 1994 and 1997 respectively.

He’s worked as a Fashion Designer in UK and In Italy before returning to his homeland in 2001 to work as an Art Director for Image Publishing Company. In 2004 he joined his family business Uawithya Machinery as a Branding Director.

Now he is back with his old love of illustrating and telling stories through his pictures. His illustrated children’s book Apes (Thai Edition) was published by Chula Book in February 2023 and is available in good book stores nationwide as well as online.
 
His drawings are inspired by peace, love and vibrancy of his Ashtanga Yoga Practice as well as his love for his truly amazing dog, Lucky.
